Job Overview
Zorvyn is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who want to build a strong foundation in software development while working on real-world fintech products used by hundreds of businesses. As an ASE, you will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and security teams to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software systems that power secure financial operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable software applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Write clean, readable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in debugging, testing, and performance tuning to ensure application stability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, QA, and security, to deliver features on time.
- Learn and apply secure coding practices to protect sensitive financial and user data.
- Contribute to code reviews and actively incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
- Support ongoing improvements, bug fixes, and feature enhancements across existing systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of basic programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and databases.
- Awareness of the software development life cycle and version control systems like Git.
- Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
